This large-scale project was completed in 19 phases over 3 years, and we managed to stay on budget despite regional cedar shortages and tariffs. Today, these fences have become a point of pride for the homeowners who live in Witchduct Lakes.
For this project, we fully pre-stained every board before installation in order to eliminate gaps between pickets. During peak COVID lumber shortages, we sourced rail-delivered cedar from Oregon and staged and stained materials on a local farm, ultimately reducing costs and delivering exactly what the client needed. Today, these beautiful fences surround 172 homes in Plantation Woods.
Our team installed 11,350' of 6' tan vinyl fencing from Country Estate, one of our trusted supply partners for over 14 years. To make this process as smooth as possible for our customers, we set up a rough timeline and removed old fences and installed new ones within 48 hours for each property. This special project was completed at Red Wing Park's Miyazaki Japanese Garden in Virginia Beach. We built 460' of authentic 3' bamboo fencing, hand-tied with hemp and bamboo dowels instead of nails. Steep grade changes required posts set as deep as 48'' to keep the fence straight and level.
